Seated calf raises put the load through a bent knee, which shifts the work to the soleus and gives you the part of the calf that standing raises miss. Set the knee pad to your leg length, load the posts, and every rep runs through the same range. The padded seat and thigh pads mean the set ends when the calves are done.

Why We Stock It

Calves get trained last and least, usually because there is nowhere good to do it. A seated station fixes that with one piece of steel that uses the plates already in the room.
